Goals :
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Provide a seamless in-seat delivery service to ensure moviegoers can enjoy snacks without missing any part of the film.

  • Increase Operational Efficiency: Streamline the food ordering process to reduce wait times and improve service speed.

  • Boost Theater Revenue: Increase food and beverage sales by offering a convenient and attractive ordering option that encourages higher spending.

Discover Phase :

5 potential things to understand the challenges they face while ordering food online.

  • Investigate difficulties users encounter in navigating the app, such as confusing interfaces, complicated menus, or a lengthy ordering process.

  • Identify common payment-related issues like transaction failures, limited payment options, or security concerns.

  • Examine problems related to internet connectivity within the theater, which could affect the ability to place or track orders in real-time.

  • Identify challenges users face in receiving timely and accurate updates about their orders, including real-time tracking of delivery status and notifications for when the order is on its way or delivered.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of customer support, focusing on response times, resolution efficiency, and overall satisfaction with the support provided.

Design phase :
Lo-Fi wireframing/ Paper sketch :
  • After synthesizing the insights gleaned from the ideation phase, I embarked on the app design process. Initiating this phase, I sketched multiple screens, guided by the user flow. This approach facilitated the rapid exploration of various app concepts, enabling a comprehensive examination of potential design directions.
